Holyoke is a city in Hampden County in Massachusetts. It is located between the western bank of the Connecticut River and the Mount Tom Range. The city has a population of around 40,000 people. Since the first parade in 1952, the Holyoke Caledonian Pipe Band has played; it is the oldest operating piping band in the United States.
